Your Mountain Guide

Philippe is the actual manager of AlpsAdventure. Simple and friendly he’s working part time as instructor in the National French Guiding School (ENSA).
This talented climber has already lead clients with success on hard routes such as Walker Spur (North Face of Grandes Jorasses), The Nose (El Capitan) or Ham & Egg (Mooses Tooth, Alaska) but also on hundreds of classical summits like Mont Blanc, Matterhorn or Weisshorn…
He’s an efficient skier who enjoys crossing the Alps on skis during the spring season. He’s always looking for some old and forgotten routes where adventure is not so far.
Why choosing Alps Adventure ?
The Difference
The essential distinction between ourselves and other organisations is that AlpsAdventure is actually owned and run by active guides in the forefront of mountain activities.
When a trip or course is planned, it's done with the sole aim of giving you the best possible experience on the hill because we want to be up there enjoying each day out with you too. You won't find us following the same old itinerary week in week out. Experience & Requirement
Chamonix is our basecamp. From this place we've been travelling around the world since 20 years . Alpinism, Off Piste, Ice Climbing… any place where you can find snow, ice or rock have been (or will be!) visited by our guides. They come from several countries and are all english fluent. We require our guides to be patient, technical and friendly.
Flexibility & Tailored Guiding
This is our big speciality. If you'd like a personalised holiday based on one of our regular trips - or a one off special just for you, then get in touch. We are the experts in private guiding.
Personal Service
Because we are a small company we get to know our clients well, building many lasting friendships over the years. This helps us a lot when planning personalised itineraries, and means you get far more value from your guide on each trip with us. If the weather and conditions are fickle, we have the flexibility to move areas which means you get more done. Safety
We take your safety seriously: we are an IFMGA mountaineering company. All our guides are certified professionals.
Progress
All of our programs are carefully planned so that the various itineraries are fully graded and integrated across each mountain discipline. This means you can easily select an appropriate trip or course, and develop new skills and experience over time to realise your long term ambitions.
